I’m the director of Targeted Media and have been involved in pay per click marketing since 2001 having opened a Google Adwords account a couple of months after their UK launch, Since then I’ve managed the spending of millions of pounds in a variety of countries and currencies driving traffic to client sites, direct to merchant sites and our own websites.
I was the first Google Adwords user worldwide to take and pass the Google Adwords Professional Examination on the day of launch so hopefully this illustrates my knowledge and understanding of Adwords and Pay Per Click Marketing in general as I did this without the weeks of preparation using Google’s Learning Centre that many of the better known agency account managers underwent before attempting the examination and even then some failed on their first attempt !
